“If you really want to recognize a nations behavior (being liberal or conservative), just look at their buildings.”
It was exactly this expression by Arian Curri which inspired me to write an article today. I really believe what he said. Everything has a form, in one way or another, and the libido of a population is defined in the buildings they build. And vice-versa: The buildings could play a particular role to shape ones libido.
A brief introduction to the problem:
As we pproach an era where nothing is private anymore. This blog post was inspired by a journalist in Albania which lost her data privacy and her intimate video with her partner went fully online. I’m not pronouncing the girls name in order to respect her figure as a woman and as a journalist.
People make mistakes, and of course that those mistakes brings consequences, but as the Americans say: “Don’t hate the player, hate the game”.
The software engineering world is what intrigues me a lot. We have awesome people and I made this post in order to encourage all of us to have a public portfolio. Hope you enjoy:
I wrote an article about communication in every day work as Software Engineer.
I’ve been really tired of the “attention requests” of social media lately. People insulting people, losing inside different topics, without noticing they both surpass each others limit. I was thinking on my next project on how to resolve this problem. Apparently it has been solved years ago, when people started blogging. But how many people are getting attention on this and rather stick to the scum statuses about themselves or friends. That’s true, it does draw attention, but not for all ages.
Let’s talk about Facebook. Facebook is a pretty well architecture software which brings people closer. But what do…
Let’s face it. Even though, Microsoft doesn’t really embrace the OSS concept, is still one of the best companies around. And I’m still curious why the FANG(Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, Google) doesn’t include the M in that word.
To be honest, I never had respect for Bill Gates products, but it’s mandatory to say that there are 0 tech companies other than Microsoft who still architect everything. My point is, that these guys really care so much about their software rather than the details of how it looks and how adoptable it is for the costumer. And their products didn’t really fail…
Meh, perhaps it wasn’t the best experience I had. I search for my freelance work on Upwork. The task was pretty easy though. I really didn’t have hard time to understand anything from the requirements and did a quick response. Well, the client apparently was a student and he/she was just requesting a demo app, which for me wasn’t challenging at all. Here is what I learned
1- You are the authority when they choose to hire you. Not them.
Well, this guy was a little like he didn’t know how to do it himself, but also started showing me…
